Silicon spherical powder is supplied across grades from 20 nm up to 7 µm (20–30 nm, 80 nm, 1 µm, 7 µm). The finer grades (20–30 nm, 80 nm) are sub-micron and fall below the resolution of any US mesh/sieve number — even the finest standard sieve (12000 mesh) only resolves to 1 µm (1,000 nm). These fine grades are specified directly in nanometers rather than by mesh; please state your target grade in the request form. The coarser 1 µm and 7 µm grades can be referenced against the standard US mesh conversion table below.
