Material Overview
Ni-Mo is a nickel-molybdenum alloy engineered primarily for corrosion resistance rather than high strength. It offers excellent resistance to reducing acids such as hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄), along with strong resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and it maintains stable corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Low-carbon/low-silicon grades retain corrosion resistance after welding.
