Cordierite Powder — Grades & Specifications

Cordierite (2MgO·2Al2O3·5SiO2) is a magnesium-aluminium-silicate mineral phase valued for its very low thermal expansion. As a mixed-oxide phase it does not carry a single standardized purity ladder or CAS number; composition and grade are confirmed per formulation. Cordierite powder is offered in Technical grade purity. Other grades can be reviewed on request depending on your application and quantity.
What particle sizes can you supply?
Particle sizes are supplied in the micron range, with the target D50 specified per order. Mesh-based requirements are also accepted; a mesh-to-micron conversion reference is provided on the page.
Can cordierite powder be made to custom specifications?
Yes. Cordierite powder is produced to order — grade, particle size, morphology and packaging can be customized to your specification. Please provide your target values in the request form.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
